Director CFO Advisory

In a second wave of finance transformation projects, we aim at digitizing the finance function from a holistic point of view, starting with the operating model, going into processes and technologies like robotics process automation.

Responsibilities & Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Support CFOs with ground-breaking insights in the areas of effective profitability & cost management, performance steering and management reporting, and how technology can help
  • Streamline and simplify cost distribution, such as service allocations and recharges and cost controlling reporting processes
  • Support our clients in improving the efficiency and quality of their shared services and overhead functions, including service catalogue and SLA designs
  • Support CFOs on implementing market leading solutions, such as Business Intelligence tools and enterprise performance management software
  • Promote our proactive approach and follow market developments in regards to industry 4.0, process automation, data exchanges etc.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams in delivering consulting services to global clients
  • Actively contribute the Business Development Strategy including the identification of sales opportunities, development of standardised service offerings and preparation of proposals for international clients
 

Your profile

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Business Engineering or similar
  • Total of at least 8 years of professional experience in a Finance, Controlling or Accounting position and experience within a Management Consulting firm. Experience within Consulting is necessary
  • Deep understanding of Finance Transformation projects, like reorganisations within finance departments, ERP implementation projects, implementation of a finance shared service center or similar
  • Strong functional insight on how technology can help the finance function gain relevance and get more efficient
  • Experience with Process Automisation (e.g. RPA) and new technologies are highly welcomed
  • Able to deal with large amounts of data and experience with management information systems
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and automation (VBA, SQL); knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German are necessary, French a plus
  • Able to deliver high-quality services under tight deadlines; very good communication and analytical skills
