Lawyer with focus on Corporate / M&A

KPMG Legal employs highly qualified lawyers with in-depth practical experience in their respective area of expertise and are passionate about the work they do. They work in a creative and dynamic environment on interesting, complex and challenging assignments for our domestic and foreign clients and advise on a broad range of business law matters, typically involving cross-border aspects.

To further strengthen our Corporate / M&A team, we are looking for an experienced lawyer in transactional matters who is highly motivated and shares our enthusiasm for our advisory work and for our interdisciplinary mandates and is ready to contribute to the expansion of our service offering.

Responsibilities & Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Advising clients on domestic and cross-border corporate, M&A and capital markets transactions (including in the real estate space)
  • Managing challenging corporate and commercial projects
  • Working in interdisciplinary teams with specialists of other service lines such as Deal Advisory and Tax
  • Contributing to the continuous development of the market presence, service offering and mandate structure
  • Acquiring new clients and developing existing national and international network
 

Your profile

  • University degree in law and admitted to the bar in Switzerland (or equivalent in civil law jurisdiction)
  • 3-5 years of working experience in transactional matters gained in a business law firm or in a multinational company (experience in the real estate space is an asset)
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with affinity for innovation and technological change
  • Open, communicative and resistant personality with high level of self-initiative
  • Fluent in German and English
