Senior Manager Finance and Operations

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Manager Finance and Operations for our Advisory function to assist our business unit.
In this internal role, you will assist our wider leadership team in shaping the future landscape and implementing new solutions to optimise our operations.

Responsibilities & Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Support the partners in driving forward market related initiatives, including establishing new services and solutions, structured targeting and marketing, professional pitching and operational initiatives
  • Assist in the strategic decision making process with various calculations and trend analysis
  • Conduct Business reviews and support our budgeting process
  • Prepare monthly actual and forecast overview and report these figures to the Head of Advisory
  • Assist the leadership in regards to the preparation of PowerPoint drafts
  • Provide assistance in analysis of Advisory financials and certain industry segments to derive the right conclusions for the strategy and required initiatives
  • Define strategical project roadmaps, initiate and lead the projects, take responsibility for establishing and implementing deliverables, and ensure the communication with internal project stakeholders
 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or similar
  • 5 - 7 years of professional experience in managing demanding projects and strategic initiatives, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Some experience within Finance is mandatory
  • Strong project management, organizational as well as people management skills in handling different stakeholders
  • Excellent English language skills, German language skills are highly preferred and French language skills are a plus
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Confident, assertive and resilient personality with excellent communication skills and ability to set and handle competing priorities and participate in diverse initiatives under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
